Do You Need a Broker of Record Letter?

Signing a Broker of Record Letter with Sovereign Insurance Allows You to Stay in the Program

Recently, you may have received notice to sign a Broker of Record letter, as the United Methodist Insurance Program has chosen a new, exclusive program manager, Sovereign Insurance Group. We understand - you're first question is probably, what is "a broker of record letter?" Sometimes referred to as a BOR, a broker of record letter is a standard industry practice that asks you to sign a document clarifying the relationship between the insurance company, broker, and policy holder. This will allow you stay in the United Methodist Insurance Program, the only insurance company with direct ties to our denomination.
